How I created the worlds first Lash Ribbon™

As a mom, I'm busy with the kids. That means I no longer had time to put makeup on nor lashes. I went without makeup for around ~2 years!

Finally when I did have time to apply makeup and lashes, my strip lashes would KILL my eyelids! The strip lashes would hurt the inner corner and outer corner of my eyelids EVERY SINGLE TIME I BLINKED!

The strip lashes made it so uncomfortable, I literally ripped them off within 5 mins of wearing them.

Strip lashes never bothered me before but some how, I guess when you grow wiser (aka older) your eyelids loosen up.

So now I'm like "well darn!". Then I came up with an idea! Since I just wanted a "natural" everyday look, I cut up the lashes and LINX was born.

I came up with the name "Lash Ribbon™" and it took me a year to create the first Lash Ribbon™.

Thousands of hours talking to manufacturers and thousands of dollars in samples of lashes, glues, tools. Some of these items I'm still perfecting while typing this out.

LINX = "links" of lashes to make a complete strip

That's my story. Welcome to my world.

Very handy!

I have found this to be very useful. Other reviewers mentioned that it might lose its stickiness. Maybe after many years, but a soap and water wash restores mine easily as long as I don’t dry it with a linty cloth. Another mentioned that it is so sticky it could ruin lashes unless you take care to only adhere the band to the pad. I have not found this to be true. I like to line them up as I’ll be applying them and stick the lash ends to the pad so that the bands stick up. That way I can easily apply adhesive to the band and let it sit a couple minutes to become tacky before applying. No more looking everywhere for that one lash that blew away or got stuck on my sleeve accidentally.

The only thing that would make me like it more is a thin plastic compact to store it in so it doesn’t get gunky in my drawer.

Useful little tool

I ended up picking this up on a whim and totally loved it. Recommend placing the band on the sticky pad or only placing the very tips of the lashes on it. It is super sticky so be careful with your lashes. Also, a quick little wash with water and air dry makes it sticky again. Totally neat little thing to plan our your lash maps

It works

The lash pad works very well the first time. The only concern is the longevity of the adhesive. (Thanks God. The top and bottom of the pad are both adhesive). And the pad is very inexpensive.

Lash pad..

Awesome idea! I will always use it, be careful how you place the lashes on the pad, it’s super sticky and will ruin the lashes if not places on the lash band….

These sticky little pads (I have 2) hold lashes as I plan and prepare my lashes. They would fly everywhere with the slightest exhale. I also use it to sort lashes after I clean them. BTW this company has the best products with absolute reasonable prices.
